Twich Collins

Twich is a screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer who focuses on educating storytellers about the craft through a story-first lens. He’s also an unapologetic nerd, so expect dumb jokes and obscure pop-culture references.

Specializing in screenwriting and story development, Twich has worked and consulted on multiple award-winning and festival-placing projects, including his own screenplays, Rawtown and My Zombie.

He began his screenwriting career freelancing as a script reader and writer before becoming a story developer at OpenMedia, where he helped clients refine projects for studio and producer pitches.

He went on to teach screenwriting and mentor students in the Cinematic Arts department at Community College of Aurora. The classroom is where Twich thrives, feeding hungry minds and making eyes roll at corny jokes.

Today, Twich is a co-founder and the CEO of the screenwriting consulting service FADE IN: to FADE OUT., helping writers shape their stories into well-told tales deserving of the screen.

He’s dedicated his life to the education of story, believing well-crafted stories told by diverse voices are the only way to ensure a brighter future.
